8 simple fitness tips
Here are some simple fitness tips to keep you active. Fitness and staying active does not require a gym. Simple fitness tips or changes you can do everyday to promote good health and fitness. If you walk 20 minutes a day it can decrease your chance of high blood pressure and diabetes drastically. I try to burn off 500 calories a day with extra activity. Here are some of my favorite tips:

- Park the car far out and walk in to the mall
- Take the stairs
- Take the kids or dog for a walk
- Sit less.. Wash your dishes instead of using the dishwasher (people who stand all day burn more calories)
- Carry only one bag of grocery in at a time (saves your back and causes extra trips)
- Drop a deck of card on the floor and pick each card up one at a time.
- Clean up after someone
- Get a pedometer
So my goal is not to be thin or small because realistically I just want to be healthy.
A year ago I was 279 now I am 259 It is a challenge I push on doing little changes one might say I need to do more.. but for me baby steps. I will get the results
