Plus Sized Fashion: Old Navy Plus Jeans Review Two weeks ago I headed over to Old Navy to take advantage of their jean sale. My son and husband need jeans and they were a fantastic deal $15 for adults and $8 for kids. While I was their I decided to try a pair and see if I would fit into there size 20 jeans. I did!! So excited. Old navy has categorized there jeans based on a hip, wait styles.
In store they have 3 types of fit, The Rock Star, The Boyfriend, and The Sweet Heart. The Sweetheart is my fit narrow at the waist and fuller hips. They also have plus size with tummy control online Old Navy Jeans. On line the plus size jeans come up to a size 30.
So I tried on 2 pairs. The first was the The Sweetheart Skinny Size 20 regularly $29.99. I have to say I am normally a little leery of skinny jeans being a plus size girl. I feel like they always kind point out the fact I have big hips. They make me look Like a caramel apple on a stick.. because they are so skinning at the ankle. I have to say I like Old Navy jeans at the store.. but I like them even more when I took these pictures. The are super comfy and they have a good amount of Lycra. The sold black color will be great in the fall.
The waist comes up enough and does not gap at the waist. Also the length on these jeans is very good I normally have to buy tall since I am over 5’10. I did not need to buy a tall.
The second pair, I purchased were the Sweetheart Boot Cut size 20 regularly $29.99. These too I loved, these were my favorite at the store. Because I love a boot cut, I think they are balanced on my frame, and look in proportion. I also move boot cuts with heals, I like how they break (where the jeans leg fold) on my foot.
So I wanted to show you another option of where to get jeans beside the Avenue or Lane Bryant. Without breaking the bank. I also noticed that they are on sale this weekend for Labor day $12 for kids jeans and $19 for adults.
