I have dry hair but it is also very thin. So I have a hard time using Moroccan oils because I find they weight down my hair. My hair is so thin that when I donated to locks of love.. the Hair Stylist said don’t worry we will add some hairs to yours to make a wig. I use baby pony tail holders, so I am that thin.
When I found I love the Nexxus Hydra Light Root Lift because it is light , not sticky, but add moisture and shine. I spray it on my wet head. Then dry it with a blow dryer or air dry. It adds shine and some lift to my hair without the weight. I highly recommend this product.
Please note since I was 37 I started not washing my hair every day, beside the weight of conditioner would weight down my hair and the shampoo stripping my hair of oils. People I told me they cant do days with washing their hair.. you are probably thinking the same thing. It was a challenge at first but my friend who advised me said it takes about a month then your hair will adapt. I found dry shampoo really helped the transition.
