Plus Size Fashion for Women Over 40

Yesterday I headed in to NYC for an Verizon event on the new Kids Technology they are offering for holiday.  I am so excited about these new offerings. I will be reviewing them on  my other blog Superexhausted.com.  I am grew up near NYC as a teenager,  my friends and I use to go into the city after school and  visit the fabric district.  Yes, I was sewing and creating back then.  Now that I am older, every chance I get I head into to NYC for a day to soak in the vibe and hustle.  This trip, I was walking around “the village” and the meat packing district, which on a weekday is slower paced since it is more of a neighborhood then a fast paced business district.  I could have stayed all day.. wouldn’t you want to sit outside all day in 74 degree weather in November.

As a plus size over 40 I really like to be comfortable when riding the train to the city. No high heel and short skirts for a long train ride from Philly to NYC.  I opted for a jacket and jeans.  The Jacket is my latest arrival from Gwynnie Bee  Modamix Abstract Printed Cropped Moto Jacket.

Gwynnie Bee is a wonderful on line membership clothing company.  You pay a monthly fee  and they send you garments you wear the clothes.  Then they give you options you can sent them back unwashed in the prepaid envelop, or purchase the clothes at a discount.  I love the idea of Gwynnie Bee it is clothing rental with an option to buy.  It is a great way to always have new clothes to wear. I get to try out clothes I would love to wear for a season. I load up my Gwynnie Bee virtual closet with all the clothes I would like to try Prioritizing my favorites, then they send me what I have chosen it is so fun getting the package and see what has arrived.

I wore the jacket with a plan black tank, and jeans.   I paired with Massi bag and gold jewelry.
