My review Nuance Salma Hayek Blackcurrant Intense Hydration Hair Mask : I received at Getting Gorgeous event last spring form CVS. This summer I used it both on myself, daughter and son. I have to say I was really impressed with this product.
Swimmers Hair Mask:
My daughter: My daughter is a competitive swimmer in the pool everyday. and she refused to wear a swim cap for practice. So her hair becomes like straw over the course of the summer. We used Nuance Salma Hayek blackcurrant intense hydration hair mask weekly as a mask on her hair. We would put it on and allow it to sit on her hair for 5-10 minutes. Then washed it out. The result is shiny non-straw like healthy hair. I found that I could skip a leave in conditioner or a Moroccan oil that I usually need to keep her hair healthy.
My son a swimmer as well, his hair normally sticks like a the guy from Cloudy w/ a chance of Meatballs. For Swimmers they usually get a build up of conditioner since the chlorine traps the conditioner in the hair. My son would use a clarifier which can make the hair weak, then the Intense Hydration Hair Mask and his hair had been the best it has ever been during the summer.
Color treated Hair or Older Hair:
My hair: is well not 100% bown and as I get older it is looking a little dull. Most hair stylist tell me my hair is healthy, but I see the split ends and damage form using color. I use the Intense Hydration Hair Mask as a conditioner every other day. I have to say
- Paraben Free
- SLS Free- which is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.. which is be bad for you
- Not tested on animals
- The smell : is a Black Currant scent.. I love it because it smells different and but not over powering.
- ** Does contain Papaya Fruit and Wheat Protein .. I don’t if the wheat protein affect those with highly sensitive wheat allergies.. so I want to mention it.

The result is that I have purchased this product and will continue using it. We are doing back into winter swim season, so I have to keep every ones hair healthy.
