How to wear a Plus Size Jumpsuit.

2 exciting things are happening this week at BigGirlsGuide.  I am the co host of the  Thursday Fashion Files with Jill at Doused in Pink and Carrie at Curly Crafty Mom! We are excited to have you here and would love to have you link up one of your latest outfits with us.  Second I am wearing a Jumpsuit.    I know it does not seem like a big deal but it is.

As a small child of the 70, a teen of the 80’s jumpsuits were all the crazy.  I was never a huge fan.. because there were not my favorites.  I also felt in the 80’s only older women in the 20+ looked good in them, since I was a teen.  You know with the extreme 1980’s hair and make up.  Kind like Annie Potts character in Pretty in Pink.

So secretly I was very excited when they came back not know when I would wear one, not like I go clubbing.   So I am planning on wearing out with the Hubby for date night.  These pictures were taken by my son who I bribed with going to Dunkin Donuts afterwards.  I am can sure you get a good chuckle from me showing up in the drive-thur with my club clothes at 8:00am with a teenage boy.   So not good.

This is how I choose to wear the plus size Jumpsuit:

The pants suit size 18 is Eloquill that I received with my Gwynnie Bee shipment, It came with the belt.  Yes it was long enough for my Tall 5’10 frame.  I could have used more int he chest area (I am a small C or B cup) .  Note to self look for a better padded strapless bra.

The necklace is Jade and Jasper necklace,  from a past season I flipped over to have a solid gold necklace.. be sure when you buy some jewelry look at it might be able to be reversible.

How to wear a Plus Size Jumpsuit

1. Choose a Jumpsuit that fits: this suit was long enough for my body which is Important if you are plus you can pull of any outfits if they fit.
2. Wear the correct undergarments.  We are plus so you mush wear a Bra and proper undies,  that hold in your tidbits
3. If you wear a solid go bold statement pieces and a heel
4. If you wear a Print go minimal jewelry just a bracelet and sandal shoes
5. Choose a great Belt.. the belt is the Key to defining your waist.
6. Handbags small clutch, not a big shoulder bag.  A pol of color clutch is great
