How to wear a Plus Size Vests and Survive a Monday

Plus size Vest My OOTD  : I had a very busy Monday. I was running around with morning swim team practice at 5:15AM . Which means I am up at 4:30ish to get my 14 year old son moving. He is not treat in the morning.

It goes something like:
4:26 am Me “Buddy Time to get up ”
4:27 am Him “For what ?
4:28 am Me ” Swim team? Now put your feet on the floor, and go take a shower.”
(you may ask why should he take a shower- he has hair longer then mine and when he washes it before hand it actually stays nicer because the wet condition hair holds up better against the chlorine)
4:30-4:55am He then spend too long in the shower
4:50 am I am yelling at him to get out.
4:56 am He gets out of the shower  goes to his room and lays down on his bed..
4:35- 5:05 am Me : At the same time I am baking muffins because he has to eat something. I also make him an egg sandwich does not get eat until 9am in his 3 period class (yuck a cold egg sandwich.)
5:07 am I am saying  “Get dressed and lets go..”
5:09 am He says  “Why the rush.. I am heading to school ”
5:10 am Me stressing ” No it is 5:10 you are going to swim team”
5:11 am He clueless “I thought I was going to school what time is it.. ??? ”
5:12-5:15 am Argument ensues about how he does not want to go and swim this early .. me saying “It is only a few more weeks.”
5:15 am  We leave for the school (I am still in my PJs because who is going to see me at 5:30 am)
5:17 am He exits the car and mopes into practice..
5:28 I am back home wide awake..

The struggles of a mom

I get home work for an hour then I have to wake my daughter up at 6:20 for her 7:15 choir practice… (same story different child ) Wash and Repeat … The girl was a little more argumentative .. “I  hate you” might have come out of her mouth for waking her up … Ahhhh PreTeen Girls such a joy!

I love Mondays !

I took a shower after driving my daughter. I wanted to wear yoga pants all day. But because I had plans I decided to dress comfortable and not in my beloved yoga pants. I chose  this vest it is from my sister.  She recently lost 70+ lb and is nice to share her old clothes with me. The thing is I lost 70lb over the last 3+ years and I am now the same size as her Heaviest weight. My sister is shaped differently then me.. I will say she was blessed with the large family chest. I was blessed with being taller so it all equals out in the wash.

I digress .. I just want to be comfy  because I was running all day.   I was at a volleyball with my daughter till 9pm, in fact this is where I wrote this post- It was a very long Monday!

I wore the vest with a turtleneck I pick up at the thrift store. I like the purple color. I paired it with jeans my favorite boots and my Ralph Lauren bag.
